Trout Point Lodge is nestled in the Tobeatic Wilderness Area in the heart of the UNESCO Southwest Nova Biosphere Reserve - all paths lead to wild beauty. The Tobeatic Wilderness Area is the largest of its kind in Atlantic Canada. Just a short distance from the lodge you will find remote, untouched wilderness, and the beauty of nature undisturbed.
We operate from mid May to early November and a visit to Trout Point is different each season. Spring brings new beginnings and new growth in the forest, with cooler days and nights and hints of the approaching summer warmth. Summer is the season when nature is at its busiest best with the forest lush and teeming with life, seen and unseen. Autumn is a riot of colour and a symphony of sounds that unfold exactly as nature intended. Warm days perfect for outdoor experiences give way to cool nights with the cozy warmth of a crackling fire.
