Prevention Measures

A Note To Our Guests

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires because continued hot, dry conditions have greatly increased the risk of wildfires.

🚫 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
To comply with provincial guidelines, the following activities at the Lodge are currently on pause:
  • Campfires
  • Use of hiking trails

We’re lucky to have plenty of boardwalks and outdoor spaces to continue to provide unforgettable experiences, including:
  • Stargazing which is on every night, weather permitting.
  • Kayaking, canoeing and SUPing on the Tusket River
  • River dips and swimming
  • Forest Bathing
  • Wild Tea Walks
  • Yoga
  • Riverside hot tub and barrel sauna
  • Fine dining by the Tusket River
  • Relaxation in our Mezzanine Library filled with books and games
  • Cocktail hour 🍸 in our Great Room
  • Morning coffee with a view of our hummingbirds

We’re committed to protecting the natural beauty that surrounds us and will continue to update any  changes on this page. Thank you for helping us support these efforts. 💚
